Soft flows the breeze from the cliff top , down the 199 steps from where the Abbey ruins sit above the beautiful harbour town of Whitby where I live.

Inspiration comes in waves like the sea lapping around the piers and washing up on the beach as free flowing as my ideas in this ancient place.

With the endless tales of vampires and ghosts that haunt these magical cobbled streets where I wander and the glamour of the goth scene and the passion and love that come from a the musicians and artists here I am compelled to create.

This piece is a beautiful blousy ruffled soft fabric flower, adorned with vintage pearls and kissed with ragged scraps of antique bridal lace from a tattered hemline from long ago and offered to you to add to your tangled tresses.

Romantic in heart and hand this beautiful piece is a limited design I only make a small run of pretty things before the antique treats that I am blessed with to create with run out and I have to course something new so grab this beauty while she is here.

Mounted on a large metal beak clip she works perfectly clipped into any hair be it long tangled dreadlocks , tumbling curls, an ocean of sleek waves or a short croppy bob.

You can clip it just as easily to a jacket collar or a hat to add a touch of charm and decadence - we all love a little decadence!

Measuring roughly 7 x 5 inches (clip is 5 inches long) and in full blousy bloom this flower would not be out of place in the hair of a Pre-Raphaelite maiden or under the Skys of Woodstock as the incense scents the air.

However you feel its magic wear it your way ... you make your own rules !
